Given our location in Morzine we are ideally situated to take advantage of the Dranse and Giffre Rivers, both of which offer different river experiences for rafters and airboaters.
Trips generally last about 2 hours and the exact spot for take-off varies depending on the water level. For this reason we ask guests to park in the designated car-parks and we will collect and take you to the take-off point having fully kitted you out for your time on the river. Before the trip you will be fitted with helmets, full wetsuits (no worries about being cold with us!), boots and life jackets, and given a paddle. When you arrive at the take-off point, you will be given a safety briefing explaining the river and good practices while you’re on it/in it! We do our best to ensure that families and/or groups are not split between boats. After your briefing you’re off! You will have a bi-lingual guide with you at all times during your descent and he knows various tricks and games should you want to play! At the end of your trip you will be taken back to your vehicle. We advise everyone to bring a towel and bathing costume with them. Children must be over 6 years of age in the raft and over 8 years of age for airboating or canoe-rafting. All guests must be able to swim 25 metres.

Starting in the middle of the "Cirque du Fer à Cheval", the trip aims to encourage you to challenge yourself by passing through narrow channels (therefore honing your steering) and going down small drops. By the end of the trip you’ll have learned about the more technical side of going down a river, such as choosing the best passage through obstacles, how to time your paddling so it’s most effective, and how to manoeuvre your boat with confidence. The buzz you get from rising to the challenge is electric! |

All trips are dependent on good conditions on the rivers: your trip may be altered if conditions require it. Your guide will notify you of any changes on the day of your trip. If you are particularly keen to raft on one or other river please let us know when you book so we can arrange our schedule to suit you. We also offer trips to the Isere (France) or Dora Baltéa (Italy) rivers however these should be booked well in advance to avoid disappointment. Trips are for either a half-day or full-day and tend to be in the quieter season (May – mid-June; September). We are committed to protecting the outstanding natural environment of the Alps, aiming to leave our surroundings as beautiful as we find them; for this reason we ask you take your rubbish with you, or leave it with us to dispose of for you.
Keep your eyes open for special trips happening throughout the summer....
